Film Pulse broadcasts a twice-weekly podcast, which features interviews from many first-time directors, as well as seasoned veterans. Recent interviews include Shane Carruth (Primer, Upstream Color), Quentin Dupieux (Rubber, Wrong), Vincenzo Natali (Cube, Splice), Calvin Lee Reeder (The Oregonian, The Rambler), and Jordan Vogt-Roberts (The Kings of Summer). Through such weekly features as Kickstart Sunday, a one-of-a-kind spotlight segment highlighting crowd-sourced films, Film Pulse brings awareness to some lesser-known projects in the works and helps promote independent filmmaking, from documentaries to animated shorts.
Since opening its doors in January of 2012, Film Pulse grew from a staff of two, to a team of ten dedicated contributors and staffers with locations spanning from coast to coast, including in film hubs Los Angeles, New York and Chicago, with readership and listenership growing every day.
