A24 has released the trailer for Jean-Stéphane Sauvaire‘s upcoming boxing thriller A Prayer Before Dawn, which tells the true story of an English boxer sent to one of Thailand’s most brutal prisons. The interesting thing about this one is that the film was actually shot in a Thai prison and many cast members are inmates.

A Prayer Before Dawn premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival and will open in theaters early next year.

A Prayer Before Dawn is the remarkable true story of Billy Moore, a young English boxer incarcerated in two of Thailand’s most notorious prisons.
