The trailer for director Olivier Assayas‘ next film, Personal Shopper has been released, after its premiere at this year’s Cannes Film Festival. The film stars Kristen Stewart, who also starred in the director’s last film, Clouds of Sils Maria, as a personal shopper for an artist who becomes haunted by her twin brother who passed away.
Personal Shopper opens in France October 19th, however there’s no US release date as of yet.
Maureen, mid-20s, has a job she hates: seeing to the wardrobe of a media celebrity. She couldn’t find anything better to pay for her stay in Paris. And wait. Wait for a sign from the spirit of her twin brother, who died a few months earlier. Until then, her life will stay on hold.
