Director David Ayer Gives us a First Look at The Joker from SUICIDE SQUAD

After giving little glimpses over the past couple months, director David Ayer took to Twitter this evening to show off the first official photo of Jared Leto as The Joker in the upcoming Suicide Squad film. While this certainly isn’t the typical look for the iconic Batman villain, he does indeed look quite creepy and I’ll be curious to see how Leto plays the role.

Today marks the 75th birthday of the character, so it seems only fitting to reveal his new look as a nightmarish present to us all.

The Suicide Squad will land in theaters August 5th, 2016.
