Yahoo has posted up the first image of
Michael Fassbender as Callum Lynch from
Assassin’s Creed, the highly anticipated (at least by me) film adaptation of the video game series. The movie adds a new chapter into the
Assassin’s Creed story by introducing this new character instead of simply retelling the plot from one of the games, which is perfectly fine by me.
The film also stars Marion Cotillard, Michael Kenneth Williams, and Ariane Labed, and begins shooting this Monday.
Assassin’s Creed is directed by Justin Kurzel (Macbeth, Snowtown) and is set to open in theaters December 21st, 2016.
