A new red band trailer has been released for Goon: Last of the Enforcers. It features a lot of punching with an expletive-laden inspirational speech used to set the mood. It’s kind of a cool mix of violence and rousing sports drama.
Goon: Last of the Enforcers is Jay Baruchel‘s directorial debut and stars Sean William Scott, Wyatt Russell, Alison Pill, Marc-André Grondin, Callum Keith Rennie, Jason Jones, Kim Coates and Elisha Cuthbert. It hits theaters in Canada on March 17th. There’s currently no U.S. release date.
It’s a new day for the Halifax Highlanders. A pro lockout has reunited old teammates and brought a crew of new players to the bench; notably missing from the line-up, however, is everyone’s favourite enforcer and heart of the team, Doug “The Thug” Glatt.
