Paramount has released a new full length trailer for the upcoming action flick Jack Reacher: Never Go Back starring Tom Cruise reprising his role as the titular badass, this time trying to uncover who is framing the new head of his former unit, played by Cobie Smulders. The film is directed by Edward Zwick (The Last Samurai, Blood Diamond) and I gotta say I’m pretty excited for this one considering how surprised I was at how fun the original was.
Paramount will be releasing Jack Reacher: Never Go Back in theaters October 21st.
Jack Reacher: Never Go Back follows the title character as he returns to Virginia to meet the head of his former unit. But she’s missing, he’s being charged with a crime committed nearly 20 years ago, and he may even have a daughter. Making things right will lead him on a cross-country chase to uncover the truth – and maybe even a family.
