The oft-delayed horror sequel
Rings is (allegedly) finally hitting theaters next month, and today Paramount has debuted the first official poster. In it, the recognizable, scraggly-haired Samara stands ominously with the plainly-stated plot of
The Ring franchise emblazoned over her likeness. First you watch the tape of her, and then you die.
In this second sequel to the 1998 hit, characters explore the mythology of the cursed video and, likely, put themselves in danger.
Directed by F. Javier Gutiérrez, Rings stars Vincent D’Onofrio, Johnny Galecki, Laura Wiggins, Aimee Teegarden, Bonnie Morgan, and Alex Roe. It will be released on February 3rd, 2017.
