The 26th annual Gotham Awards were passed out in New York City on Monday night, and Moonlight was the big winner. The highly-acclaimed tale of self-discovery took home Best Feature, Best Screenplay, the Audience Award, and a jury prize for Best Ensemble. This could bode well for the film’s Oscar chances as the last two Gotham Best Feature winners (Birdman and Spotlight) also won the top prize at the Academy Awards.
