Andrew Bujalski’s RESULTS Trailer Starring Kevin Corrigan, Cobie Smulders and Guy Pearce

Magnolia Pictures has released the trailer for Andrew Bujalski‘s (Computer Chess) latest, Results, starring Kevin Corrigan, Cobie Smulders, and Guy Pearce. Corrigan plays a recently divorced rich man who seeks out a personal trainer in order to be able to take a punch. While this certainly looks more mainstream than Bujalski’s Computer Chess, it still has an odd vibe about it that makes me want to seek this one out. Brooklyn Decker and Giovanni Ribisi also star.

Results opens in theaters and on VOD platforms May 29th.

Recently divorced, newly rich, and utterly miserable, Danny (Kevin Corrigan) would seem to be the perfect test subject for a definitive look at the relationship between money and happiness. Danny’s well-funded ennui is interrupted by a momentous trip to the local gym, where he meets self-styled guru/owner Trevor (Guy Pearce) and irresistibly acerbic trainer Kat (Cobie Smulders). Soon, their three lives are inextricably knotted, both professionally and personally.
