Robert Rodrigues has announced via Twitter that he has just cast none other than Charlie Sheen to play the President in the upcoming Machete Kills, which stars Danny Trejo as everyone’s lovable Mexican killing machine. The film already has an eclectic cast featuring Amber Heard, Mel Gibson, Sofia Vergara, Tony Jaa, Michelle Rodriguez, and Tom Savini, and it seems like Sheen is the icing on the cake. According to IMDB the plot reads as follows:
The U.S. government recruits Machete to battle his way through Mexico in order to take down an arms dealer who looks to launch a weapon into space.
Machete Kills is currently filming, and should be out sometime next year.
