DWF 2017: Devin Rice’s BEING BLACK ENOUGH Gets a Trailer

A new trailer has been released for Devin Rice‘s Being Black Enough or (How To Kill a Black Man), which is set to premiere at this year’s Dances With Films Festival in Los Angeles. The film, written, directed, and starring Rice, is a semi-autobiographical story about a young black man growing up in a predominantly white area who heads to the hood in order to discover what it truly means to be black in this time in our history.

Being Black Enough will be premiering June 10th at the TCL 6 Chinese theatres. For tickets, head over to the Dances With Films website at danceswithfilms.com.

A young Black man, raised in a predominantly white neighborhood and ridiculed for not being “Black enough”, decides to go to the hood to hang out with his gangster cousin and discover what it really means to be “Black.” He eventually faces the harsh realities of gang violence, drugs and police confrontation.
