Everybody Has a Hustle in David O. Russell’s AMERICAN HUSTLE Trailer 2

Here’s the newly released second trailer for David O. Russell‘s American Hustle, which tells the true story of a giant con operation run between the feds (Bradley Cooper) and a con artist couple (Christian Bale and Amy Adams) in the 1970s.  The film also stars Jeremy Renner and Jennifer Lawrence.

This second trailer has more plot details and dialogue than the original music-focused release, but it’s still not enough to give away any surprises or twists this story might offer.

American Hustle is set to hit theaters December 13th, hit the jump for the trailer and synopsis.

 

Brilliant con man Irving Rosenfeld, who along with his equally cunning British partner and lover Sydney Prosser, is forced to work for wild, unhinged FBI agent Richie DiMaso. DiMaso pushes them into a world of Jersey powerbrokers and mafia that’s as dangerous as it is enchanting. Carmen Polito, the passionate, volatile, New Jersey political operator is caught between the con-artists and Feds. Irving’s unpredictable wife Rosalyn could be the one to pull the thread that brings the entire world crashing down.
