A new poster has been released for Anthony Scott Burns‘ (Our House) upcoming thriller Come True ahead of its premiere at this year’s Fantasia Festival.
The film involves a young woman who, after running away from home, discovers an offer to participate in a sleep study for some much needed cash only to find there’s something sinister afoot.
Vincenzo Natali (Splice, Cube) is an executive producer and Julia Sarah Stone and Landon Liboiron star.
Fantasia Digital will be running from August 20th – September 2nd for Canadian residents.
High school student Sarah (Stone) is at her lowest point yet when she runs away from home and finds herself with no one to rely on and struggling with recurring nightmares. She chances upon a university sleep study that offers the promise of safety and money and brings her an unexpected friend and confidant in the overseeing scientist Jeremy (Liboiron). But there’s something curious about proceedings, and being under observation seems to make Sarah’s disturbing dreams even worse.
