A new restricted trailer has been released for the upcoming comedy The Oath, from writer-director Ike Barinholtz. The film stars Barinholtz as a liberal guy who goes to Thanksgiving dinner with his wife, played by Tiffany Haddish, only to get into a violent argument with his conservative family over a controversial new bill passed that requires American citizens to pledge loyalty to the president. The film also stars John Cho, Carrie Brownstein, Billy Magnussen, Meredith Hagner, Jon Barinholtz, Nora Dunn, and Chris Ellis.
The Oath opens in theaters October 12th.
A controversial White House policy turns family member against family member in THE OATH, a savagely funny dark comedy about surviving life and Thanksgiving in the age of political tribalism.
