This week we’d like to highlight Cities in the Sky: Science Fiction’s Forgotten Visionaries by Marisa Cohen. This very interesting documentary takes a look at some of the most prolific names in science fiction that you probably never even heard of.  By pledging your support, you ensure that these names and ideas are not forgotten.  The project is currently at $1,811 of $43,000 with 44 days to go.  Show your support by clicking here to donate and hit the jump for more information about the film.

What if you came up with a bunch of great ideas, were a true visionary, and never received any credit?  We’re hoping to change this situation for some really deserving men and women who made significant contributions to science fiction.
The feature length documentary Cities in the Sky: Science Fiction’s Forgotten Visionaries dives in and explores the virtually forgotten and marginalized works of incredible minds who predicted our future lives and technology often with amazing clarity and insight.  Even the biggest science fiction fans may have missed many of the men and women we cover.
