Kickstart Sunday – ‘Scopia’

Every week on Film Pulse, we highlight a Kickstarter project that we think you’ll really like, and deserves some support. Not only do we implore you to contribute to these projects, but we will contribute as well. Kick your Sunday off right by helping support independent film. If you help fund any of the projects we list, send us an e-mail at feedback@filmpulse.net, and we’ll make sure to thank you on the podcast.

This week we’d like to highlight Scopia from director Chris Butler.  This feature length film looks to be an intelligent psychological horror film in the same vein as The Shining or Don’t Look Now. These guys have nearly everything they need to produce this great looking picture, they just need a little bit your your help for the post production.  Click here to donate, hit the jump for more info, and be sure to tune in to the podcast tomorrow (Monday) for our exclusive interview with the director.

“Scopia” is feature length horror/sci-fi film for grown-ups. Think Donnie Darko meets The Butterfly Effect, meets The Shining, meets something you’ve never seen before. We have set out to bring a intelligent and classically inspired chiller to the screen that will assault the senses as see what happens when reincarnation goes badly wrong.
