The NYFCC just finished announcing their 2017 winners, with Greta Gerwig‘s Lady Bird winning Best Picture and Sean Baker winning Best Director for The Florida Project.

I must say, I’m very impressed with this list and I could only hope that all the upcoming award ceremonies follow a similar path. Take a look below for the full list. The awards gala will be taking place in NYC Wednesday, January 3, 2018.

Best Supporting Actor: Willem Dafoe, “The Florida Project”

Best Cinematography: “Mudbound,” Rachel Morrison

Best Non-fiction Film: “Faces Places,” dir. Agnes Varda and JR

Best Foreign Language Film: “BPM (Beats Per Minute),” dir. Robin Campillo

Best Animated Feature: “Coco,” dir. Lee Unkrich and Adrian Molina

Best First Film: “Get Out,” dir. Jordan Peele

Special Award For Career Achievement: Molly Haskell
