Paramount Pushes PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 5 to 2014

Earlier this week, Paramount was hinting at moving the date of Paranormal Activity 5 back to 2014 from its original October release date.  Today, they have confirmed that it will now have a January 3rd, 2014 release, with Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa replacing it on October 25th.

The reason for this bump is most likely due to the poor performance of the last installment, which happened to also receive some overwhelmingly negative reviews.  Could this be the end for Paramount’s flagship horror franchise?
