The Burial Of Kojo is a very interesting film. Blitz Bazawule basically self-funded this film and it definitely could have been longer with an expanded story but I think the director basically figured out what he wanted to do but shot just enough giving his limited resources. I would definitely see an extended version that features a more adventurous journey by the girl in searching for her father. It’s a 7.1/10 for me.

While his story ideas and his execution are commendable, I hope he considers adding a more experienced screenwriter to his next project to balance out his visual approach in order to give his next project, whatever it may be, a more story driven structure complemented by his stunning visuals.
