  1. Calvary:
The director mentioned two of the characters were based on real people/events: Milo and the serial killer in prison. 😀
Also how the heck did you recognize the voice at the beginning? They used an actor’s voice who is not in the movie!

    • Yeah, I had no idea who it was from the voice, I didn’t think it sounded like him at all. That’s interesting about the characters based on real people, I’m now going to look that up, thanks for the info!

      • Good luck with that! Probably you won’t find much on Milo as he really just said nobody from the townsfolk was based on real peoeple except him. He was talking a little bit more about the serial killer but I don’t remember in which interview.

I recognized that voice because of my hawkears! If they used a different actor than the one in the movie his voice sounds very similar. As soon as he opened his mouth I thought “Ohh, it’s whats-his-name”.

      • You may just not know his voice enough. 😛 I am a huge fan, definately not him. Honestly, I really tried to match that voice to his after I saw the movie and listened to the trailer several times but I couldn’t. That’s why I started to look for clues. I can’t recall any Irish (or even British) review where they stated to recognize the killer by the voice. But there were quite a few in the US. 😉
