I hope you’re as excited as I am for the upcoming film adaptation of Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, but there’s another film based around the popular book series and it’s a documentary that looks into the history and controversy behind them. Titled Scary Stories, the film is directed by Cody Meirick and features over 40 interviews including author Alvin Schwartz‘s family alongside his peers and fans.
Scary Stories opens in limited release April 26th, and will be available on VOD platforms May 7th.
