Sundance 2015: TURBO KID Trailer

At least a few times a year a movie will come around that appears to be created just for me, and this year I think one of them is Anouk Whissell, François Simard and Yoann-Karl Whissell‘s Turbo Kid. Back when the first ABCs of Death was being compiled, a contest was held for the letter ‘T’ and invited filmmakers to submit their own short to be included. T is for Turbo was one of those shorts, and while it wasn’t chosen (Lee Hardcastle’s T is for Toilet won) it was one of my favorite entries within the finalists.

Thankfully, the short has been turned into a feature film and it just had its world premiere at this year’s Sundance Film Festival. A new teaser trailer has been released, and if you know me, you’ll quickly see why I’m so excited for this one.

In a post-apocalyptic future a young solitary scavenger obsessed with comic books must face his fears and become a reluctant hero when he meets a mysterious girl. From horror masterminds Ant Timpson (The ABCs Of Death 1 & 2, Housebound) and Jason Eisener (Hobo With A Shotgun).
