Magnet has released the trailer for Takashi Miike‘s upcoming 100th film, a bloody samurai epic called Blade of the Immortal. Based on the hit manga, the film stars Takuya Kimura as an immortal samurai who cannot die until he’s killed enough evil men. Yes please.
Blade of the Immortal opens in theaters November 3rd.
Samurai Manji has taken a lot of lives, both innocent and guilty, and now lives life in feudal Japan as a criminal. After being cursed with immortality until he kills enough evil men, Manji meets a young girl who enlists him to be her body-guard.
