Weekend Box Office: THE BOSS BABY Takes Charge

Fox and DreamWorks Animation’s The Boss Baby greatly outpaced expectations to finish in first place at the box office last weekend, taking in an impressive $49 million. Beauty and the Beast was a strong second, earning $47.5 million in its third week in release. Ghost in the Shell finished third with a disappointing $19 million, while The Zookeeper’s Wife barely made the top ten in its limited release.
