The 8th Lower East Side Film Festival is set to kick off in New York June 7- 13 and this evening the full lineup was announced. The opening night film is James Lester’s documentary Getting Naked: A Burlesque Story, with two features selected as closing night films- Eugene Kotlyarenko‘s Wobble Palace and Kendall Goldberg‘s When Jeff Tried to Save the World. The festival will also be screening the New York premiere of the upcoming Papillon remake.
