Here’s my list of most anticipated films of 2012 in no particular order. I’m sure there’s probably some I missed so make sure to check out Kevin’s list as well.

Love Nolan, love Batman, I’m sure this is on everyone’s list this year.

Release Date: June 8th
Cast: Noomi Rapace, Charlize Theron, Idris Elba
Ridley Scott’s return to horror/sci-fi in the form of a sort of Alien prequel. Very excited for this one.

Cast: Brad Pitt. Eric West, Matthew Fox
A UN representative, writing a report on the great zombie war, interviews survivors in the wake of World War Z.
This movie has been in production forever and I’m very excited for it to finally be ready for release this year.

Cast: Tom Hanks, Jim Sturgess, Hugo Weaving, Halle Berry
Six stories set in a different time and place become intricately related to each other.
This supposedly unfilmable story is set to release this year. I’m very interested to see how this one turns out.

Wes Anderson is one of my all-time favorite directors and his new film has me drooling with anticipation.

Tarantino is another one of my all-time favorites and I can’t wait to see his take on the western.
