Comic-Con 2013: AVENGERS 2 Gets a Title and a Villain

Today at the Marvel panel at Comic-Con 2013, director Joss Whedon announced that the upcoming Avengers sequel will be titled Avengers: Age of Ultron.  This title also reveals that the team will be facing off against Ultron, who is a robotic villain mistakenly created by Ant-Man AKA Henry Pym.

The interesting thing about this piece of news, is that the 10-issue arc this is based on, involves Wolverine heading back in time to kill Pym.  Unless there are some crazy deals being made with Fox, this will have to be changed for the film.  Either way, this is all very exciting, though we’ll be waiting a while since the film isn’t set to hit theaters till Summer of 2015.
