Cannes 2013: ‘Ronny & i’ Trailer

One of the more buzzed about short films that’s screening at Cannes this year is Ronny & i from director Guy Shalem.  The film, which is executive produced by Bryan Singer and Jane Lynch, takes place within a 24 hour time period as two friends go on a trip after one of them goes through a breakup.

Regardless of the celebrity endorsement, I’m very interested in checking this one out.  There have been plenty of shorts shot on cellphones, however by the looks of the trailer, the quality of this one looks outstanding.

It was exclusively shot using a smart phone and will be hitting several summer festivals before rolling out on VOD later in the year.  Hit the jump for the full trailer.
