The Fandependent Films Spring 2016 Festival Concludes, Winners Announced

The Fandependent Films Spring 2016 Film Festival has officially wrapped and with that the winners of this edition have been announced. Scott Baehrend‘s documentary Two Fingers, The Windy City Wonder received the Audience Award, with Jack Perez‘s Some Guy Who Kills People and Ericson Just‘s The Burden of My Company getting second and third place respectively. Nicholas Bateman‘s The Circus Animals received this season’s Ben and Jerry Award.

If you’re not familiar with how Fandependent works, it’s an online film festival where all the films are available to watch for free and all the winners are voted on by fans. If you see a film you like and want to support it, cast your vote for $3 and help support the filmmaker by not only sending them some cash, but also getting the word out out their movie.

All four of this season’s winners can be watched for free over at Fandependentfilms.com and expect to hear our reviews of these movies on this week’s podcast, set to come out tomorrow morning.

Full disclosure, we have partnered with Fandependent for the Spring festival to help promote the films and the site, however there was no monetary gain and all opinions are our own.
