Kickstart Sunday: RENTAL

This week’s Kickstart Sunday pick is Daniel Moya‘s Rental, a romantic goodbye letter to the video rental store. As someone who has countless fond memories of perusing the video store for hours on end, any film that pays homage to this dying pastime is worth supporting.

This Kickstarter campaign currently has 26 days remaining with a project goal of a mere $10,000 so be sure to click here and donate today.

‘Rental’ tells the story of Darren, an employee at the last ever video rental store on his final shift. An aspiring screenwriter, he is constantly imagining the surreal possibilities of cinema in his own life, blurring the line between reality and fiction.
