Kickstart Sunday: UNITED SKATES

This week’s Kickstart Sunday comes to us from Dyana Winkler and Tina Brown and their film United Skates.  United Skates is a documentary about the resurgence in roller skate culture and the many different styles that have formed in cities all around the country.  For those of you that thought roller skating died with disco, check out this project and be sure to make a donation.

The film has 36 days to go, and it currently at $8,258 of a $50,000 goal.  Having witnessed this new style of skating myself, I am extremely intrigued to check this one out.  Hit the break to learn more.
