NYFF 2014: David Fincher’s GONE GIRL to Open 2014 New York Film Festival

The 52nd New York Film Festival will kick off September 26th, with David Fincher‘s Gone Girl having its world premiere as the opening night film.  This year’s fest will run through October 12th and more information can be found at their web site here.

Gone Girl is based on a novel by Gillian Flynn and stars Ben Affleck as a husband accused of being behind the disappearance of his wife, played by Rosamund Pike.  You can check out the latest trailer here.  Gone Girl opens in theaters October 3rd.
