Short Film: Peter S. Hall and Paul Gandersman’s THE GIVERTAKER Welcomes Us to the Dead Kids Club

Arcanum Pictures has embarked on a new project titled The Dead Kids Club, a series of interwoven short stories evoking splendid images of classic teen horror books like Goosebumps and Fear Street. The first entry, The Givertaker, has been released online for free via Vimeo after its recent premiere at this year’s Fantastic Fest. The film is written by Peter S. Hall and directed by Paul Gandersman and revolves around a spiteful teenager evoking an ancient evil in order to get revenge on some classmates.

While I thought this first entry was just okay, I’m still very much looking forward to seeing the rest of the series, which will hopefully make its way to Vimeo soon. Plus, look at that awesome poster!
