Short Film: SUKI

With just two weeks left in this season’s Fandependent Films Festival, one of our last picks come to us from Maxime-Claude L’Écuyer and his film Suki. Suki tells the story of a man grappling with the decision to end the life of his elderly dog, and it’s every bit as devastating as you’d expect.

The film is a poignant and intimate look at a moment in every pet owner’s life, one that I myself know all too well. As heartbreaking as it is, this is still  a beautiful film and one that I would highly recommend giving a watch.

Also, consider voting for Suki at Fandependent.com where it’s competing for a $1000 cash prize alongside over 60 other fantastic shorts.

Full Disclosure: Film Pulse is a promotional partner of Fandependent Films, however no monetary exchange took place and all opinions are our own.
