Slamdance 2014: Slamdance Doc ELLIOT Gets a Poster

A new poster for the upcoming Slamdance doc Elliot has been released, which revolves around a man attempting to become the first Canadian martial arts action star with his film, Blood Fight.  This is certainly one of the most surreal and bizarre docs I’ve seen so far at the festival, and highly recommend checking it out.

Stay tuned for our full review and our interview with the film’s directors Jaret Belliveau and Matthew Bauckman.  Hit the break to check out the poster and synopsis.  Elliot will be screening tomorrow, January 17, at the Slamdance Film Festival in Park City, UT.

The bizarre story of Elliot “White Lightning” Scott, who plans on becoming Canada’s first action hero with his low-budget karate epic, Blood Fight. This surreal documentary captures two years in the lives of a passionate amateur filmmaker, his supportive partner Linda Lum, and their cast and crew of outrageous dreamers – all striving to achieve success.
