Slamdance 2016 is gearing up to kick off in Park City January 22nd, and here we have the trailer for one of this year’s features, Alvin’s Harmonious World of Opposites, from director Platon Theodoris. As with all Slamdance films this is the directorial debut from Theodoris, and revolves around an agoraphobic man who must leave his home in search of answers after a mysterious black sludge starts seeping into his apartment. The film stars Teik-Kim Pok, Vashti Hughes, Dessy Fitri, Ailis Logan, Nitin Vengurlekar, Tina Andrews, and Alicia O’Donnel.
The Slamdance Film Festival runs from January 22nd – 28th, for more information you can head over to the official web site here.
Agoraphobic Alvin prefers stuffed pandas and online shopping to the aggressive rantings of his neighbor Virginia, until the sludge seeping from his ceiling forces him to search for answers in this offbeat comedy with a tender heart.
