Slamdance 2016: Gravitas Ventures Picks up Dominic Rodriguez’s Furry Doc FURSONAS

Gravitas has picked up the worldwide distribution rights to Dominic Rodriguez‘s documentary Fursonas, currently screening at this year’s Slamdance Film Festival. The film delves into the lives of furries, individuals who enjoy dressing up in animal costumes. While I was interested in understanding why this craze exists, unfortunately the doc did not answer man of my questions, however it does take an interesting turn making it worth a look (my full review will be posted this week).

Gravitas will be releasing Fursonas on VOD platforms sometime this Summer, although an exact release date has not yet been announced.
