A new trailer has been released for Bert Scholiers‘ upcoming Belgian comedy Charlie and Hannah’s Grand Night Out, which is set to screen later this week at the Slamdance Film Festival in Park City, UT. The film sounds delightfully absurdist, revolving around two friends who eat some magical candy that make their body parts talk and give them a portal to another galaxy.
Charlie and Hannah’s Grand Night Out will be screening January 20th and 25th at Slamdance.
Friday night. Charlie (Evelien Bosmans) and Hannah (Daphne Wellens), two girls in their mid-twenties, are strolling through the city. Things take an unexpected turn when Charlie conjures magical candy that makes body parts talk and through which a trip to another galaxy becomes the easiest thing in the world.
