Cannes 2014: THE HOMESMAN Trailer Starring Tommy Lee Jones and Hilary Swank

Here’s the first trailer for the upcoming Tommy Lee Jones directed film The Homesman, which stars Jones as a man about to meet his end who is rescued by Hilary Swank and in return agrees to help her escort three insane women across the plains.  The film also features Grace Gummer, James Spader, Meryl Streep, Tim Blake Nelson, John Lithgow, William Fichtner, Halee Steinfeld, Miranda Otto and Jesse Plemons.

The Homesman is in competition at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, where it will be making its world premiere.  There’s no U.S. release date as of yet, but I would imagine it’ll come out just in time for awards season.  Hit the break to check out the trailer.
