Tiff 2014: The 2014 Toronto International Film Festival Kicks off with THE JUDGE

David Dobkin‘s The Judge has been announced as the opening night film for this year’s Toronto International Film Festival, kicking off September 4th and running through the 14th. The film stars Robert Downey Jr. as a big city lawyer who returns to his hometown in order to defend his father, played by Robert Duvall, who is suspected of murder.  The film also features Vera Farmiga, Vincent D’Onofrio, Jeremy Strong, Dax Shepard and Billy Bob Thornton.

Warner Bros. is releasing The Judge in theaters October 10th.
