Tribeca 2015: Jeppe Rønde’s Haunting BRIDGEND Gets a Trailer

A bleek and haunting new trailer has been released for Jeppe Rønde‘s Bridgend, which takes a fictional look at a real town in Wales where between December 2007 and January 2012 79 suicides were reported, most of whom were teenagers. The film stars Hannah Murray (Skins, Game of Thrones) as a young girl moving back to the town with her father (Steven Waddington) who is investigating the suicides.

Bridgend will be making its North America premiere at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival, which kicks off this week.

Sara and her dad Dave move to a small village, which is haunted by suicides among its young inhabitants. Sara falls dangerously in love with one of the teenagers, Jamie, while Dave, as the town’s new police officer, tries to stop the mysterious chain of suicides.
