Park City, UT (January 22, 2018) – Magnolia Pictures announced today that they have taken North American rights to Gustav Möller’s critically acclaimed Danish film THE GUILTY which has emerged as one of most discussed films of this year’s festival. The film is screening in the World Dramatic Competition. The thriller has electrified audiences with it’s masterful direction and suspenseful imagination.THE GUILTY was produced by Lina Flint. The film is a Nordisk Film Spring & New Danish Screen presentation. Möller and Emil Nygaard Albertsen wrote the screenplay. It stars Jacob Cedergren, Jessica Dinnage, Johan Olsen, Omar Shargawi and Katinka Evers-Jahnsen.The deal was negotiated by John Von Thaden, Senior Vice President of Acquisitions at Magnolia Pictures and Susan Wendt, Director of International Sales & Marketing at TrustNordisk on behalf of the filmmakers.Eamonn Bowles, President of Magnolia Pictures said, “Gustav Möller has devised an ingeniously executed thriller with THE GUILTY.
