Tiff 2013: HALF OF A YELLOW SUN Trailer

Here’s the debut trailer for Half of a Yellow Sun, which will be premiering at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival.  The film is based on the novel by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and follows the lives of two sisters in Nigeria during the Nigerian-Biafran War of the late sixties and early seventies.

Half of a Yellow Sun stars Chiwetel Ejiofor, Thandie Newton, John Boyega, Anika Noni Rose, and Joseph Mawle, and is directed by Biyi Bandele. Hit the break to check out the trailer, and be sure to head over to Tiff.net for all the latest info on the festival.
