A Nicolas Cage Double Shot with ‘Stolen’ and ‘Frozen Ground’ Trailers

Here at Film Pulse, it’s widely known that we love Nicolas Cage, and this week we got treated with not one, but two trailers for upcoming Cage films. First we have Stolen, directed by Simon West (The Expendables 2), where we see Nicolas Cage being forced to steal $10 million in order to save his kidnapped daughter. Unfortunately, this doesn’t look anymore than average, but hopefully Cage’s brand of absurdity will make this something worth watching.
Stolen is set for a September 14th release date.

Master thief Will Montgomery is just released from the State penitentiary after serving a 10 year sentence, is contacted by Jonah, his ex comrade in crime, who is holding Will’s teenage daughter ransom in a hijacked taxi cab. Jonah will only surrender her when Will reveals the whereabouts of the 20 million dollars he contrived to conceal from their last robbery.

Next, we have the trailer for Frozen Ground, written and directed by Scott Walker, and, in addition to Cage, stars John CusackVanessa Hudgens, Dean Norris, and 50 Cent.

This one is set for a November 30th release.

Frozen Ground” follows Alaskan detective Glenn Flothe (Cage) as he sets out to end the murderous rampage of Robert Hansen (Cusack), a serial killer who has gone unnoticed for 13 years. As the bodies of street girls start to add up in Anchorage, fear strikes a chord with the public. Risking his life, Detective Flothe goes on a personal manhunt to find the killer before the next body surfaces. When a seventeen year old escapee reveals key information about the case, Flothe is finally able to trail the killer. But will he catch him in time to save the next victim?
