We’ve been seeing a lot of films and TV shows approach this important issue as of late, and I couldn’t be happier to see these topics be looked at and discussed. With quality shows like Orange is the New Black and Transparent, and great movies like 52 Tuesdays and Tangerine coming out, this sorely underrepresented group are quickly entering the mainstream in a very positive way.
