Adam MacDonald’s BACKCOUNTRY Picked up by IFC Midnight

IFC Midnight has picked up the U.S. rights to Adam MacDonald‘s thriller Backcountry, which originally premiered at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival to much praise, including from us. The film stars Missy Peregrym, Jeff Roop, Eric Balfour and Nicholas Campbell, and revolves around a couple heading to the woods for a weekend camping retreat, only to have things go horribly wrong.

There’s no release date set as of yet, but be sure to check this one out when it hits theaters and/or VOD.
