Alchemy Acquires Stephen Fingleton’s THE SURVIVALIST

Alchemy has announced today that they picked up the North American rights to Stephen Fingleton‘s feature debut, The Survivalist, which just had its premiere at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival. The film stars Martin McCann, Mia Goth, and Olwen Fouéré, and takes place in a post-apocalyptic future where a man living alone in the wilderness takes in a wandering mother and daughter. When describing this film, the word bleak comes to mind, but somehow it doesn’t feel strong enough to convey just how bleak this story is- think The Road only more depressing.

The Survivalist doesn’t have a release date just yet, you can read our full review here.
