Alexander Payne’s NEBRASKA Trailer and poster

Here’s the first trailer and poster for Alexander Payne‘s upcoming film Nebraska, which stars Bruce Dern and Will Forte as a father and son traveling from Montana to Nebraska to pick up a million dollars supposedly won in a contest.

Shot in black and white, the first trailer looks fantastic, and looks to have all the quirky charm that Payne previously brought to the screen with Sideways and The Descendents.  Nebraska opens in theaters November 15th, hit the jump for the trailer, synopsis, and poster.

After receiving a sweepstakes letter in the mail, a cantankerous father (Bruce Dern) thinks he’s struck it rich, and wrangles his son (Will Forte) into taking a road trip to claim the fortune. Shot in black and white across four states, Nebraska tells the stories of family life in the heartland of America.
