20th Century Fox released a new poster for Alien: Covenant, which looks like a cross between an H.R. Giger painting and Dante’s Inferno. Seriously, the marketing machine for this film is getting a little out of control, but I’m loving it. Alien: Covenant is directed by Ridley Scott and stars Michael Fassbender, Katherine Waterston, Billy Crudup, Danny McBride, Demián Bichir, Carmen Ejogo, Amy Seimetz, Jussie Smollett, Callie Hernandez, Nathaniel Dean, Alexander England, and Benjamin Rigby.
The film revolves around the crew of a colony ship headed to a new planet only to find they aren’t the only ones there, and this paradise may be hell.
Alien: Covenant opens in theaters nationwide May 19th.
Ridley Scott returns to the universe he created, with ALIEN: COVENANT, a new chapter in his groundbreaking ALIEN franchise. The crew of the colony ship Covenant, bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world. When they uncover a threat beyond their imagination, they must attempt a harrowing escape.
